Né de la rencontre musicale entre deux amis d’enfance, Inverness voit le jour en janvier 2023.
Porté par un rock instrumental atmosphérique aux influences progressives et alternatives, le projet développe rapidement une identité singulière. L’arrivée d’une section rythmique complète marque un tournant, faisant évoluer son univers vers des sonorités plus sombres, plus riches et plus audacieuses.
Au fil des répétitions, des compositions et des concerts, le groupe affine un son immersif, puissant et profondément évocateur.
Aujourd’hui, Inverness présente « Crushing Waves« , son premier album, paru en janvier 2026.
Born out of the musical chemistry between two childhood friends, Inverness came to life in January 2023.
Blending atmospheric instrumental rock with strong progressive and alternative influences, the band quickly began shaping its identity. With the arrival of a full rhythm section, their sound evolved into something darker, richer, and more experimental.
Now solidified in its current line-up, Inverness has steadily built momentum through rehearsals, demos, and live performances, refining a sound that is both immersive and powerful.
